Growing America’s Farmers

Doing what’s right for the greater good.

About The Program

Growing America’s Farmers (GAF) was created by G&R Farms as a means to support and educate the youth of America for their future in farming. GAF provides academic scholarships and fosters community groups that encourage bringing future farm generations together. They partner with the Future Farmers of America (FFA), who brings invaluable reach across the farming community.

History

When you talk to multi-generation farmers and ask them what they care about, you hear them talk about legacy and responsibility. They take their role seriously not just in growing food but also in protecting and continuing traditions associated with the multi-generation family farms they are often a part of. For those of us working to Grow America’s Farmers, that responsibility is the same, and it weighs heavily on us, thinking about who the next generation of farmers will be, and we have made it our mission to help prepare them to carry the torch. Because of that, we are vocal advocates for the FFA. We’ve made Growing America’s Farmers our passion project, and it has already helped raise over $435,000 for production agriculture scholarships and grants.

How It Works

The program is 100% funded by suppliers through retailer supported programs

As a retail supporter, G&R Farms or brand participants, set aside a percentage of each case sold to a retailer partner.
